Osaka, the second largest Japanese city after Tokyo, and which I quite liked more than Tokyo, for some reason. Friendlier, more modern, livelier, maybe.

Technically, the first picture is really Kyoto, which I shot past in a Shinkansen. Osaka has got what must be one of the best shopping malls. The Osaka Castle is a magnificent landmark, much more so seen from the outside than from the inside.
